The 61st Annual Primetime Emmy awards were handed out at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles this morning.
Favourites such as 30 Rock and Mad Men continued to dominate the Best Comedy and Best Drama categories, but there were still plenty of surprises in the smaller categories. Perhaps most excitingly (and deservingly) Toni Collette picked up Best Actress in a Comedy Series for United States of Tara, defeating perennial fave Tina Fey.
